Rowley Country Club celebrated its 60th anniversary on June 1. On a beautiful, sunny day, the many attendees shared memories of great golf and personal and professional connections made there. Darin Chin-Aleong, the club’s general manager since 2015, was particularly excited about the new Rowley Country Club Hall of Fame. Its two inaugural members are longtime members Tammy White and Mike Fecteau. Tammy was a five-time club champion from 1996 to 2001, missing one year due to an injury. Mike was an 11-time club champion from 1991 to 2001.
The Rowley CC team has ambitious plans moving forward. Plans include expanding the golf course, adding walking trails and youth sports facilities; creating housing where people can age in place; and implementing a smart, balanced 3A plan tailored for Rowley.
