Tedesco Cup 61st annual: Zolotas, Pollara take gross title

Marblehead’s Tedesco Country Club hosted its 61st Tedesco Cup, a two-day member-guest tournament June 20-21. George Zolotas (Tedesco) and Chris Pollara (Boston Golf Club) were gross champions (133, -7). Zolotas won the same competition in 2024, but this year did so with a new partner in Pollara. Elias Demakes (Tedesco) and Alex Wayman (The Country Club) were net champions (126, -14). “Conditions were tough,” said Head PGA Golf Professional Ryan Train. “The golf course is in impeccable condition. Greens are hard and fast with winds from 20 to 30 mph. Our leaders certainly earned it.”
