When Alyssa (Rollins) and Brian Jasiak were touring prospective wedding venues with Brian’s brother Don and his fiancee Amanda, they fell in love with Andover Country Club.

The couple, who dated for eight years, met at a party at Bentley College, got engaged at sunrise at Brian’s family’s beach home on Seabrook Beach and circled back to Andover Country Club to get married.

“It felt right. I loved the character and charm,” said Alyssa, who affectionately recalls the 55 degree February day as perfect to tie the knot.

“For over 90 years, couples have celebrated their special day at Andover Country Club,” said Elyse Desmarais, marketing communications director at the club. “Couples say ‘I Do’ in our outdoor ceremony gardens overlooking the golf course, celebrate their cocktail hour and reception in one of our four ballrooms with panoramic golf course views, and end the night in a honeymoon suite at the club’s inn. Our seasoned event planners ensure each couple receives individual attention throughout the entire wedding planning process and on the big day. Our in-house culinary team allows each couple to customize the perfect gourmet menu for a personal touch.”

Alyssa and Brian kicked off their party with a cocktail hour and moved to the Andover Room for dinner and dancing. The couple celebrated with a winter motif with snowflakes and silver. After a plated salad, guests enjoyed food stations and a buffet.

Their favorite moment of the evening was the first dance.

“We danced to ‘I Got You’ by Jack Johnson, as the bridal party wayed along,” noted Alyssa. She said the wedding experience at Andover Country Club “was awesome and easy. I didn’t have to do anything at all,” said Alyssa, who credits planner Kate Crayton with orchestrating a lovely wedding.
